Stuart became a Daddy, March 6, 2007.
Miya couldn't have a better Daddy than Stuart Neeley! She loves him so much. He is so gentle and patient with miya and it melt my heart to see them together. I am so grateful for all Stuart does for us.
This is how Miya would cuddle up into Stuart when she was a baby. She would sleep on his belly for hours.

Did I mention stuart is also a great example to our sweet Miya!!Miya refuses to walk on her own two feet. As soon as you let go she drops to the ground. Lately she has been getting around on her own two knees. If you ask me, it looks quite painful but that's Miya for ya. That little girl can get around pretty fast on those two knees! I'm not pushing her to walk like a normal child just yet. She can take her time. It wouldn't surprise us if she woke up from a nap one day and started walking. That's how she has been with everything else. We get a kick out of watching her grow.
This is Daddy and Uncle Stephen helping her walk. She would lean forward every single time. LOL! It was so funny watching her try.
She will stand on her own for a few seconds and then flop to the floor.
Besides trying to walk. Miyas' new favorite thing to do is eat BANANAS! She will eat a whole banana on her own and gets angry when you take a bite!
She will stuff her mouth until she can't fit anymore and don't try to tell her otherwise! She is so sassy when it comes to eating!! I'm afraid she will choke one day. I try to give her little bites but she will keep the food in her mouth until you give her another bite and before you know it her mouth is full and that is the only way she will swallow!
I'm being ambitious this summer and one of my many projects is a Garden!!! After Steve was so nice to come and rototill our little spot Stu came home early (early is 8pm for us) on Tuesday and we planted our little Garden. Hopefully it works out OK and we get at least tomatoes. Our garden includes- Big Boy and Roma Tomatoes, zucchini, squash, green beans, green, red and yellow peppers, cantaloupe, jalapenos, cilantro and broccoli. Yay!!! I'm excited to see what happens.
I'll be honest! Stui was NOT HAPPY I rototilled into his yard! He babies his lawn but in the end he was ok with it! Happy Wife, Happy Life!
Miya enjoyed sitting and watching her dad plant our garden. Actually, I think she was just happy being up past her bed time.

This was Stuarts Horsey when he was a little boy and now it's Miyas. She absolutely LOVES IT!!! She will ride as fast as she can possibly go on her own. (If you are wondering why you can't understand what I am saying it's b/c I am speaking spanish, so don't worry it's only spanish)
Mother's Day was a True Mothers Day for me. God really wanted Miya and Stu to know what a great Mother I can be. I tried to be calm, loving and patient all day and let me tell you why, Miya got a fever of 103 and had a fever all day and all night and still has a fever! My Mothers Day consisted of a Great breakfast, Lunch and Dinner by my wonderful husband and screaming and crying from my beautiful baby Miya. The long nap I wanted to have on Sunday did not happen nor did I sleep that Sunday night until 5am when Miya decided she was going to try to sleep. Yes! It was a horrible day but now I think back on it and those nights of no sleep and babies crying are worth everything in the world. The caring and love you give to your little ones is what counts in the end and as a Mother that is what life is all about. So if you ever have a crappy Mothers Day like mine...just think..."you're a mom!!!!" Mom's do not get a break not even on Mothers Day! I did take Miya in to the Drs today and she only weighs 16.4! She's only gained 2 oz in the last2 months!!!! How ill she ever get her surgery!
Please enlighten me with your knowledge! Where and How do I get cute backgrounds for my blog? Do I have to buy a software or what??? I will take anyones advice on this!
