Vegetables Of Our Labor

Here is an update on my little garden! It has been so fun growing my own veggies this summer. I have never planted anything in my life and for sure I thought everything would die...but to my surprise...everything has grown wonderfully except for my green beans and I can live with that.

Miya loves to come out and help me Harvest our little garden. The zuchinni was almast as big as she is!

Now & Then

Miya Loves raw zuchinni. I was cutting it up to have some grilled zuchinni and Miya had to have some. I gave her a piece thinking she would hate it and to my surprise she ate half of it....Raw

ALl In OnE MonTh!

Everything we haven't been able to do in a year, we have done in a month and we've had a blast. If you don't know Stuarts crazy schedule let me tell you about it,as you all know, in the spring it was tax season so he was going to work at 7-8am and coming home at 11pm-2am in the morning and now that it's over he is traveling to Idaho every week Sunday - Thursday, and then I work on the weekeneds. Talk about a great lifestyle. We never see each other so we have both practically took most of July off to spend together. It has been so wonderful!!

We made the four hour drive which turned into five with Miya to Idaho to visit Stuarts parents. We had so much fun hanging out with them! It was worth the drive.
They took us on a nice little boat ride down the Payette River. It was a blast! We left Miya with my Mother-In-Laws friend Lori and went White Water Rafting. SO FUN!!!
Thank you Lori!
Boise Park! Boise is such a cool city and it has this great big park with water fountains and ducks everywhere, huge playground area, nice picnic areas and you cannot forget the Boise River that runs along the side. Next year we will take Miya down the Boise River. If you ever make up to Boise make sure to take your little raft to go down the fun river, it's the cool thing to do up there!
Miyas two favorite things at the park...The slide and the swing!
We had a great time in Idaho! Thank you so much for having us up Wayne and MayLynne.

Miyas first time on a Sea Doo. We went around the lake very slowly so she could have her turn. She loved it!
Jen and Stephen! Jen didn't trust Stephen driving the Sea Doo! He can get a little wild!
Daddy and Stephen pushed Miya back and forth on the tube and she thought it was so fun!

Miya playing in the sand.

Jen was a great sport! When we were unloading our stuff, Jen rolled her ankle going down this steep, rocky hill. Her ankle was swollen, black and blue but she was tough and managed to have a great time. We love you Jen!! Miya taking a nap...what a life! Cute Miya enjoying the sun!

4th of July

We had such a fun 4th of July! Miya got to see Fireworks for the first time! She was so excited and loved it so much that she was mad when they were over! On Thursday we went to our Brother-In-Laws Stephens house to watch the Eagle Ridge Golf Course Fireworks. His parents own a house a block away from the golf course so we sat on their porch and had a BBQ. We couldn't have asked for better seats. Thanks Stephen! Anyway, It was so perfect all Miya could say was "wow" and "yay" through out the whole show. She got so excited that it cracked us up. I didn't think we would get that reaction out of her.
On Friday we did the Neeley 4th of July Tradition and went to the Ogden Trout Farm that morning. Miya was fearless! Once aunt Jen caught the first fish miya went at it. She grabbed it with no hesitation. Grandma Neeley made sure Miya got to play w/ her fish and she was just loving life.
He Caught One!!! Uncle Dave loves playing with Miya and Miya doesn't mind at all!

Miya and I trying to catch our fish.Daddy showing Miya all the fish.

After the Fish farm we headed to Marie Callenders for lunch where Miya was happy because Uncle Dave was there to give her all the Diet Pepsi a one year old can have!

That night everyone came over to our place where we had a BBQ and played guitar Hero! Even Grandpa got into it! We had a great time!!!Stu and Steve

Daddy's Vacation

Do to Stuarts crazy job schedule we hardly ever get to spend time with him. We have missed hanging out with him and going on family outings. This last week he finally had some vacation time. Do to Miyas heart surgery coming up this fall we decided to stick around Utah and do things around here. We went to the Zoo, Cherry Hill, and Grandma took Miya for a day and Stu and I went to Raging Waters. It was so fun to be together as a family and we enjoyed every second.

We rode the train around the Zoo. We were so tired by the end. It was hot and Miya liked it for about the first 10 minutes then she just wanted to watch all the kids around her and grab the leaves from the trees.
Miya thought the Gorilla was pretty cool!

Miya got around the Zoo on her Dads shoulders. She thought it was so cool because she could pull on the trees.

We made it around the zoo in 2 hours. We were pooped. We thought Miya would really enjoy it but I don't think she really knew what was going on. We still had a good time and maybe in 2 years the animals will actually get a good reaction out of her.
