Halloween Part-Tay!

We had our Neeley Halloween Party this last weekend and we had soooooo much fun! Thanks Blood Family for hosting! Stu and I were Treasure Trolls and Miya was cute ballerina. I felt SO loved when my husband wore that stupid wig I made for him....

Us! His wig kept tipping over. it was pretty funny!

We bobbed for apples and dunk Stus head in the water. It was GREAT!

Miya did not want to be left out and joined the fun. She did not leave site of the bucket until she had her turn. She dunk her head in the water all by herself. It was so funny (I wish we would have been fast enough w/ the camera to get her head in the water!) She got her apple, w/ her hands of course and was a happy bobber.

She cheered on Captain American (Uncle Alan).

Doggy "Bee" and Miya

I made a delicious Vampires Blood drink. It looked quite gross w/ it's eyes, brains, hands and fangs floating around.
I also made a Grave Yard Cake. Edible from the tree to the little ghost. It was Yummy!
We had a donut eating contest...I won!!!

Stu Won the men's contest!!!

We had so much fun and I hope that next years is just as good if not better!

Happy Halloween!!!!

What is an ASD?

An ASD is the heart defect that out sweet girl was born with. At this point in time we are waiting for Primary Childrens Hospital to contact us so we can schedule her surgery. AHH! I'm freaking out but afterwards we hope she will be full of MORE energy ( I think she already has plenty,) her body will be able to retain more food, she'll gain weight and grow! Oh, and live past her 30s. With that being said, we will have to put her on a diet after the surgery.
For more knowledge on an ASD I found this definition for those of you who are interested.
What It Is -->The septum is a wall that separates the heart's left and right sides. Septal defects are sometimes called a "hole" in the heart. A defect between the heart's two upper chambers (the atria) is called an atrial septal defect (ASD). When there is a large defect between the atria, a large amount of oxygen-rich (red) blood leaks from the heart's left side back to the right side. Then this blood is pumped back to the lungs, despite already having been refreshed with oxygen. This is inefficient, because already-oxygenated blood displaces blood that needs oxygen.

I was tagged by Jody (sweetest person ever) I am: 24…why is it that when you hit your 20s you start feeling so old yet you are still so young!I think: that menopause is the worse thing that a woman could go through. I know: life is short and I need to enjoy it more. I have: a wonderful husband and a beautiful little girl who I adore! I dislike: people who think that hair color will give you cancer! I miss: my family in AZ every day (especially my wonderful mother) and during winter I am very tempted to move there! I fear: Miyas heart surgery. I feel: lazy at this point in time. I hear: the computer monitor and my little fingers typing away I smell: Miyas Slobbery blanket I crave: summer and Cherry Hill. I cry: when I am very mad! It’s so bad b/c if I’m in an argument I can never win b/c I start crying, but it’s just from the fury I have within. I usually: dance with Miya when we are home during the day. I search: for good deals on cute outfits for Miya and shoes! I love shoes! I wonder: when the second coming will be? Thanks to Stephen and our conversation about Obama being called the Messiah by some, that is all I’ve been thinking about all day! I regret: not finishing college! 1yr, 30 credits and $6,000 down the drain! Makes me sick! I love: my family I love: cuddling time w/ stu right before we fall asleep at night. I love: when Miya tells me she loves me. I love: my job-making people feel good about themselves. I love too many things in life. I care: about my families future and where life will take us. I always: clean my house. I worry: that my kids will grow up to give me a hard time like I did to my parents! and I wont know what to do. I am not: Hawaiian/Polynesian, Philippino, Chinese, Japanese, mixed-black/white…I am Mexican…that’s all! I remember: My first date w/ Stui at the Baltimore Inner Harbor in MD. I am sick of: keeping my house spotless for showings. I sing: when I have to. I don't always: think before I speak I write: when I blog or I have to give a card to someone. I win: hardly ever I lose: all my arguments w/ Stu! He’s just smarter and can come up w/ better arguments then I can. I wish: I had a million dollars I listen: to Miya trying to talk. SO CUTE!!! I can usually be found: at home or shopping. I am happy: when I’ve had a good nights sleep. I tag: Jenny, Lynette, Liz

Halloween Princess

I really wanted Miya to be a cute little witch but she would not keep the hat on her head and what's a witch without a hat? So, we went for the pretty ballerina costume. We took her to the Layton Park and got some pictures taken. She loved running around in her puffy costume.

Our Little Ballerina

She loved all the ducks and Geese.

I Had A Dream...

Okay, so I have to share my dream. It was the night Miya was really sick and she slept in our bed. Needless to say she had the whole bed and Stu and I were left to have the edge of the bed so it was a horrible night overall. I kept having these awful dreams about Miya. One in particular was about a trip to the zoo. "We were at the zoo and miya was playing w/ the geese. She was running after the geese and decided she was going to pet one of them and the goose went straight at her and bit her finger off. In my dream I freaked, I grabbed her hand and I was screaming for people to look for her finger and to get me a cup of ice so that when we found her piece of finger we could put soak it in the ice and the doctors would still be able to sow it on." Yes, Freaky Dream! Anyway, my park experience was my dream unfolding into real life. As you can see in this picture she is gunning to pet those geese, well, I grabbed little Miya and ran! Far, Far away from the dumb, mean geese. I'm sure people thought I was nuts b/c I literally panicked. Call me crazy but I think God new I had to have this dream. I am not kidding you, my dream was becoming a reality right in front of my eyes.

She loved running around the park in her fun costume and as you can see she has all 10 fingers!

These would have been adorable pictures but she did not like it in those trees.

Goodbye Summer...Hello Fall

Goodbye Summer!

Miyas Friend Anna has this cool Jeep that she can't drive just yet but our little neighbor Sean chauffeurs them around. It's quite entertaining to watch the girls go on a ride w/ this cute Blondie.

Miya doesn't really "ride" her toys. She drags them behind her everywhere she goes.

At night we like to chill while watching our favorite TV shows and Miya joins the fun in her cute princess couch. My favorite is when she has friends over and they both get their babies and sit on this cute couch. They look like little ladies.

Ok Family (Rogers) Who is this?

This is one of the outfits my cute little sister wore 8 yrs ago. I put it on Miya the other day and they look exactly a like.

Hello Fall!!

I'm so excited for the holidays but not for the hibernation months w/ a toddler! AAAh!

Fall Baby showing off her "BIG" muscles.

Uncle Stephen and Jenny are one of Miyas favorite people and best babysitters ever!! Every time they would kiss Miya would make this face.

"Ewwww Uncle Steve and Jen!"

Miya tags along to our fun Food Club Meetings and looooves to munch on all the yummy food especially the pumpkin chocolate chip cookies.

Bee Bee (late update)

A million thanks to my dear friend Gina!
The next day after we lost her "Bee Bee" I went everywhere looking for her darn Blanket and found nothing. We tried one w/ the same material but different colors and I got a big fat "no!" from Miya. That day I talked to Gina and she reminded me she had one just like it and was willing to donate it to save our sleepless nights. That night she came over w/ the blanket. Miya took it and smelled it, of course it did not smell like her smelly Bee Bee. She looked quite confused but it only took a couple of minutes before she screamed "Yay!" hugged it, stuffed it in her mouth and was asleep in no time. We had a great night sleep that night. The next morning I was going out to the store and noticed a pile of something pink under my neighbors car. It was Bee Bee! It turns out her "Bee Bee" was left in the neighbors driveway. It had been driven on, sprinkled on and who knows what else but I still jumped out of car and ran over to grab it from under the car. Even though it was pretty nasty looking I was so happy to have the "original Bee Bee" in my hands.
Wow! I never thought Miya's blanket would have it's own post!
