5 Years & Counting!

Time goes by so fast when you are married to such an amazing person!! It was 5 years last week that Stu and I were married. It is such a fun adventure to be married to my hot accountant! I'm so happy to be making fun memories with him each and every day! I look forward to growing old with him and always keeping a budget to the penny!!!!!

The day of, we had dinner at my very favorite restuarant The Cheesecake Factory!! Yummy!

The next day Stu and I went to Lagoon. It has been 6 years since we last went to Lagoon. It was one of our first dates when we were dating. It brought back memories of how young and daring we use to be. WOW! Let me tell you! We are getting to old for this stuff. Grandma watched Miya all morning so we could hit up all the big rides.

Our favorite ride was wicked. We soon realized that we were trying too hard to not get sick to our stomachs so we decided to be done with the rides and left to get lunch and Miya.

Miya joined us that evening and we went on a couple kid rides. Miya fell in love with the train and animals! I'm glad we ended our Anniversary Celebration with Miya joining us!

We took Miya on the big Ferris Wheel. Can you say Anxiety Attack!!! I was so close to start screaming to get us down! Of course Stu had to turn our basket in circles in mid ride! I use to be the queen of roller coasters and crazy adventures and now I start to get anxiety attacks!!! Is it just me or does it come with age and being a mom???? Miya kept wanting to sit by the door and I convinced her she could kneel in front of it and look down but man! I almost peed my pans!!! Worse feeling ever! The whole time I was planning my rescue mission in case our basket broke or fell. Stu thought I was going nuts...I was...literally.

Catching Up

Pool Time!
Our pool opened on Memorial Day weekend. Stu and Miya were ready to kick off summer with a little swim.

Miyas New Ride

She loves to ride her new princess four-wheeler.

But the best part is when her friend comes over.

"My Baby!"

I love my little girl! especially when she does all the cute things little girls do. My favorite is when she changes her babys diaper. She goes around saying, "Mom, My Baby...stinky bum." so she goes and makes sure that baby no longer has a stinky bum.

She even wipes the babys bum.

I love to see her try to put a size 5 diaper on this itty baby. She gets so frusterated but doesn't give up. She then gets her potty book (in the background,) shows it to her baby and says "Baby, Nice, Poop, Potty!" Translation...Baby, it would be nice if you could poop in the potty. Hmm, I wonder where she got that from. We've been trying to potty train for ever! I always tell her those same exact words after a poopy diaper change. Oh how I love my Miya.

So Much To Post So Little Time

* I am so behind on this blog thing! There's more to come! With the move and summer here I have been too busy to blog but since my family is not very nice to me for not updating I will make sure I make some blog time in my schedule!!
Cinco De Mayo
We celebrated Cinco De Mayo with Jen and Steve and we had a very fun Mexican Time! It's funny how in Mexico it's not even a big deal but in America it's a another Holiday. I decided we would make the best out of this day and get made fun of by my Mexican family for actually celebrating it!
My Parents went to Mexico about a month ago and brought this adorable dress back for Miya. She looked so cute...just like a lil mexican girl. I braided her hair and I just wanted to eat her up.

We drank delicious Pina Coladas.

I made Stus Favorite Mexican Dish. Chiles Rellenos...Not as good as my moms but they were still so yummy!

Steve and Jen brought over some fried Ice Scream to top our Cinco De Mayo festivities!

It was a Fun Fiesta!!!!! (Not siesta Jen)

Easter
Easter Sunday was so fun at our house. I got up way too early and made Belgian waffles from scratch (I was so proud of myself!) and by eight I had Stu and Miya come down for breakfast. Miya was so excited when she saw her Easter basket. We had breakfast and talked about Jesus and had a very good Sunday morning. Love Stus Face! "The Basket" She got her favorite movie in the world!
She spotted the eggs around the living room and thought she would help clean up. Little did she know they were full of candy and all were for her. We had to sit down with her and explain.
We had so much fun with Miya and we can't wait for next year!
