While Aunt Jenny made this amazing 4 layer rasberry cake Uncle Stephen gave Miya a little treat! Miya's new thing is to put her clothes on or our clothes and shoes on all by herlself. She tries...really hard. The outcome...hillarious.

7 Days Till Christmas

Yay! It's that wonderful time of year again. I love Christmas! This year I am very excited to open presents w/ Miya. She is going to be so much fun! My highlight of this month has been watching Miya kiss baby Jesus. Every time she sees a manger she grabs baby Jesus and kisses him a million times and then will rub its face oh so gently. I Love It! I am trying to teach her what Christmas is really all about but for a toddler the whole Santa and presents thing is all that matters. Can't hurt to try. Well for those of you who have E-mailed me about our blog, I'm sorry! I have been to busy to blog let alone send out the invite. So, So, sorry! I will be better. Thanksgiving was so fun this year. My family came out from Arizona and we had so much fun eating our favorite food, playing boardgames and teasing each other. It was a blast. Thanks Dad and Mom for coming out! We went to Temple Square to see the lights. It was so magical! The Rogers Family + my brothers BFF who we call our adopted Brother(bottom left.) They are attached at the hip and well, he joined the Family pic. "The Roger Girls"

A Perfect Heart

On Sunday Miya's friends and cousins dropped by to wish her good luck, along w/ some sweet cards and presents....Thank You, from the bottom of our hearts! On our way to the hospital... Playing w/ toys while waiting. Miya was a little loopy. They had just given her some drugs to calm her down. It was quite funny seeing her tilt her head back, close her eyes, rock from side to side and giggle. Our Family before heading to the OR. Pre surgery...The Amazing Dr Gray who fixed Miyas heart! Post surgery...First time I held Miya after her surgery in the recovery room and our awsome master suite for the night. We could not believe that Miya had a perfect heart and she was in our arms. Best feeling I have felt in 2 yrs!!!! One out of 4 EKGs Miya had to get done. This one was right after her surgery. While holding Miya, she decided her tummy was not settling and threw up all over me. The nurse was so kind to find me this wondelful scrub outfit. Quite cumfy I might add. Miya had to lay flat on her back, legs straight for 6 hrs after her surgery. Let me tell you it wasn't easy but she was so wonderful the whole time. She did it w/ only one small tantrum. Her first "yummy" after surgery...graham cracker. Miya had taken over the only comfy couch in our room so we put her in her bed for a while and was happy as long as she had her show on. The Fam. We were so relieved but now so exhausted! Miyas first wagon ride after her 6 hrs of laying flat were up. She loved it! We were so happy to see a big smile on her face. These were going to be our sleeping accomidations, Me on this couch, most likely w/ miya and stu on the rocking chair until our wonderful nurse brought us a big bed. Our Master Suite! Yea Baby! Our 2 am wagon ride. Miya could not sleep and kept crying through out the night. We finally decided to take her on a wagon ride. She was so happy and we were so dead! We walked around the hospital for about an hr and it made us feel good to see her so happy. No more Mommy!!! This was her last EKG and echo but she could noe longer do it anymore. It broke my heart! I wanted it to be over just as much as she did. Only Daddy could comfort her. It's Over!!! She was so happy...she new she was going to go get "yummmies"... Breakfast "Yuuuummmmyyyy!" She was in heaven eating her breakfast. She wanted no help!! Last Oui! I helped the nurse take her dressings off. The funniest part was when we took her IV bandage of her hand. She looked at her hand and started kissing it and licking it. It was so cute and funny. She just went around saying "YAY!!" while kissing her hand. It's Over!!!! Lets go home and sleep!!!! Miya said goodbye to the elevator fishes. Always have faith and hope!

Here We Go...

Our sweet girl will be going in for heart surgery Tomorrow, Monday, Nov. 17. She started her Aspirin regimen yesterday so that her blood will start to thin out. We are very nervouse and have many fears but we also have faith that everything will be ok. Please keep her and the Dr. in your prayers. P.S. Thank you to all of you who have offered help. It means so much to our family.

Going Private

On KSL news they had a report on blogging and how dangerous it can be. For the last 3 weeks my sister-in-law- and husband have been telling me how I should be private...blah, blah, blah. Well after this KSL report I will be going private. The chances of something happening to my family are slim but I still do not want to take any chances. Plus stui said..."blogging...NO MORE!" Blogging is so fun and it keeps my family and friends up-to-date on our family so I will just keep it private. I have most of your e-mails but just in case leave it as a comment and I will invite you to our blog. That is, if you want to be invited of course. Sorry for the inconvenience. You can read the story here..... http://www.ksl.com/?nid=148&sid=4699330

Halloween

Halloween Day was so fun. Miya Loooooved getting candy. I think her very favorite part was going to Jenny's office where she went from office to office trick-or-treating. At first she was very shy but after a while she new what she had to do. Thanks Jenny for such a fun day..sorry no picture are available, my camera was dead!!! Grrr!
Our sweet Miya got an upset stomach that day and our trick-or-treating plans were soon over. Her "explosion" was so big that we had to retire her ballerina outfit. I was so sad. There's always next year!

Before her "explosion." Miya had to show off her "BIG" muscles. I love this picture. Miya was being so sweet w/ her Daddy!

Kisses for Dad!

Halloween Part-Tay!

We had our Neeley Halloween Party this last weekend and we had soooooo much fun! Thanks Blood Family for hosting! Stu and I were Treasure Trolls and Miya was cute ballerina. I felt SO loved when my husband wore that stupid wig I made for him....

Us! His wig kept tipping over. it was pretty funny!

We bobbed for apples and dunk Stus head in the water. It was GREAT!

Miya did not want to be left out and joined the fun. She did not leave site of the bucket until she had her turn. She dunk her head in the water all by herself. It was so funny (I wish we would have been fast enough w/ the camera to get her head in the water!) She got her apple, w/ her hands of course and was a happy bobber.

She cheered on Captain American (Uncle Alan).

Doggy "Bee" and Miya

I made a delicious Vampires Blood drink. It looked quite gross w/ it's eyes, brains, hands and fangs floating around.
I also made a Grave Yard Cake. Edible from the tree to the little ghost. It was Yummy!
We had a donut eating contest...I won!!!

Stu Won the men's contest!!!

We had so much fun and I hope that next years is just as good if not better!

Happy Halloween!!!!
