Freaking Out!!!

I have lost Miyas Blankey, her "bee bee." This girl LOVES her blanket, it's part of her. She sleeps with it, walks with it, eats and drinks with it and if you have ever babysat Miya, her bee bee is her comfort! It's 11pm, I am sitting in the other room listening to her ask for her bee bee. Before going to bed she asked for her bee bee. I tried other blankets and she would say no and push them away. Then she would ask "bee bee?" while putting her little hand out to the side in question. It broke my heart. I have a hole in my tummy. Am I going crazy? I have a hole in my tummy over a blanket. A piece a fabric that holds my daughter together and saves me during nap times and tantrums. I cannot for my dear life remember where this piece of fabric was left!!!!!

*OPTIONS*

-Call IKEA and ask if they found a pink blanket...will they think I'm nuts? -Go to Target, Babies-R-Us and see if I can find the same blanket? -Let her cry until she turns blue and realize that there is no longer a bee bee? This brakes my heart, I seriously feel soooo bad. Is this normal?? Moms out there, help! What do I do???

For Your Own Entertainment

This post is especially for my dear sister Keni and sister-in-law Jenny who claim I need to update my blog a lot more often then once a week! Blogging take hours. Once you have read through all your friends blogs and commented on them an hour has gone by and then it's down to the post. What to post? How to tittle your post. What pictures to post? Previewing your post? Editing your post...still not convinced? that's another 1/2hr. By the time you're happy w/ your post it's been two hours. Wow have I really been waisting away two beautiful hours. And by the way my sister doesn't say..."Hey, post more pictures of You and and Stu" No, no, no, It's more like "Post more pictures of cute little Miya!" I'm not offended or anything like that, I'm not very photogenic. But heck! Stu and I need to feel the love too! Anyway Keni and Jenny, here are some random pics of cute Miya for your own entertainment.

Sauce face! Miya had pizza for dinner.

*Note for Dad (Tim)-Dad, if you are reading this for some crazy reason. Miya did eat all of her pizza with a fork and tried really hard to not miss her mouth but didn't quite succeed every single time. Hands were used when necessary but was encouraged to use her utensils.

BaTh TiMe!

Miya loves taking baths but not when her bath tub is full of water. Weird, but whatever. She was begging her Daddy to get her out! She kept saying, "peas da-ddy." It was quite cute and of course Daddy almost gave in.

Mommy knows the tricks and kept her in the tub, I drained all of the water and pulled out some bubble foam and let her play with the running water.

All clean!

She has to rub the lotion on all by herself.

She brushes her own hair...and eye...and ear...and mouth but mostly her hair.

AnD bEfoRe sHe WeNt To BeD tHaT nIgHt ShE hAd To...

...Try my sandal out. It was so entertaining watching her trying so hard to get my sandal on...

And getting it off. She screamed when she thought she would never get it off. I had to come to the rescue. It was hilarious.

She loves to color now...Thanks to her little friend Anna, Miya now loves her coloring books!

And right before she's ready to cuddle she has to make some important phone calls... she will talk and talk and in between all her talking we catch a "hi."

Right before we take her up to bed she has to cuddle w/ Daddy every night while watching his show. I love watching them love each other. It makes me realize how lucky both Miya and I are to have a great man in our life's.

Last Two weeks!

WOW! So much has happened in the last two weeks! My head is about to explode!! *For starters, Stu got a new job offer 2 Mondays ago and we decided it was a great opportunity for him. As of Sept. 15 he will be working for Mona*Vie as an accountant in their International Department! Yay! He will now be able to come home every night to see us!!!
If you are asking what is Mona*Vie? Well, it's a lot like Usana, Xango and Noni but of course ten times better. Staurt is so excited but with that decision being made, come more decisions like...
*Selling our beautiful home and moving closer to Sandy!
Yes, Our house is for Sale!!!
Dave Parker has been so great to take us on as his clients and let me tell you, he is a GREAT Real Estate Agent, best one we've had!
*Miya graduated from her Baby Car Seat to A Big Girl Car Seat! She is the happiest ever getting into the car now. I will have her facing backwards until she is two(for safety purposes) but she is still so happy in her new ride.
So while our house was being put on the Market and the sign was going up. Miya and I took off with Stuart to Idaho Falls and Yellowstone for the week .
...And this is Idaho falls..Looks a lot prettier in the picture
We went to Yellowstone National Park for Labor Day. It is beautiful! Miya was actually pretty good on the trip (we faced her forward on the ride around the park) and she loved being able to see everything! Specially all the animals.
We saw some Bison, Elk and Coyotes. We were bummed b/c we didn't see as many animals as we would have like to have seen but oh well.

The park is so beautiful! The Waterfalls were my Favorite.

This is How Miya sleeps. She has to have her blanky in her mouth at all times.

Beautiful, breathtaking scenery everywhere.

Old Faithful.
It would have been pretty if it wasn't 30 degrees and it didn't look like a big cloud of smoke.
We were so bumbed we didn't get the perfect eruption. I'm just glad we didn't wait an hour like a lot of people did. It was sooo cold. We were told to dress warm not wear our winter clothes. We were freezing the whole entire time. We had every hoodie we had on and miyas blankets wrapped around us.
Miya being happy, playing with her laptop.
We headed to our hotel in Idaho Fall around 5pm that same day. We were so cold and we knew Miya wouldn't last much longer in a car seat. We saw beautiful sites and we were content going home when we did. We'll go back in a couple of yrs and next time we'll be ready for any type of weather.
While Stuart was Auditing The DOE. Miya and I stayed at the hotel and went out to explored Idaho Falls. For your Information...There's not much to explore in Idaho Falls.

We went to the Idaho Falls Temple.

After work one night, Stu took us for Ice Scream. This was such a fun little Ice scream shop. It was fresh, home made Ice scream, made with fresh milk from their backyard! Yes, the cows were in the backyard of the shop. It smelt like pure cows but the Ice scream was delicious, best I've had so far. To the side of the little shop they had a an area with barn animals.

Stu and Miya loved hanging out at the hotel and would watch TV every night after Stu's work.

We went to the Tautphaus Idaho Zoo. Yea, it was small. It took us 1/2 an hr to go around the whole zoo. We went to the petting zoo to kill some more time. Miya was gutsy enough to pet the goats. At one point we ha had 3 goats around us head-butting us...I was a little freaked out. I almost ran out of the cage thing we were in.

Miya and I would go to Idaho Falls Park and have lunch by the water every day. Miya loved feeding the seagulls and chasing them.
*At the Hotel we would swim almost every night. By the end of the week Miya learned how to blow bubbles, how to kick and and the most important, how to float. I was so proud of her and so impressed. I think if I take the time to take her to the pool during the winter and work on her swimming lessons, she could very well be swimming by next summer. Ready for Cherry Hill! I wish I would have taken some pictures but unfortunately we had too much fun every time to remember to take some. She is such a water baby and is not afraid of the water but I am so she will learn how to swim ASAP.
*The last event that ended our week was finding a house! We fell in love with a house in Saratogas Springs. It is so beautiful. We shall be putting an offer on the house this next week. AAAHHH!! Everything is happening so fast!!! Now I have to pack and try to sell our house. So, if you know anyone looking for a cute house send them our way.

A Day In SLC

Last Friday (August 22) we headed down to SLC and walked around Temple Square and then we hit up a Bees game w/ Stuis Work Buddies.

Daddy walking his Baby Girl to the Temple.
I absolutely adore this picture!
Mommy and Miya walking through the gardens in Temple square.
Miya was amazed at how beautiful the visitors center is. She kept saying "WOW" and we felt bad b/c she was so loud.

She loved the Reflection Pool! It was time to get on our way when she decided she wanted to jump in.

LOL! She didn't want to wear her shoes so we let her go around barefoot. She would stop every now and then to clean her feet. It was quite funny and cute!

Miya being cute!

At the Bees game enjoying out yummy Sundays while watching the game. All Miya wanted was a cup of sprinkles.

Miya made some friends and they would all try to get under the same chair. We all just sat around amused as they were able to fit 3 1/2 kids. Finally they realized they were all stuck and couldn't get out...

Miya, of course, let out the first scream.

GO TEAM!

After the Our Crappy Bees Team lost, we enjoyed a great fireworks show.

Miyas Heart * The Waiting Game

Yesterday (Monday, August, 25) Miya had her appointment with her amazing Cardiologist, Vicky Judd. Miya is doing really good, except for her weight gain. She only weighs 18.5lbs which means she has only gained 1lb in the last 3 months. This is a concern for the doctor. Her heart size is the same size it was 6 months ago therefore it's not a concern right now but we will keep watching it. Miya has 1 month to gain at least 1lb. If by the end of September she doesn't weigh 19lbs she will be scheduled for surgery. If she DOES weigh 19lbs then we will wait 3 more months and go in for a check up. Then we will check her weight and heart size and see what her weight chart is looking like and we will take it from there.

How frustrating is that?
We love our little Miya so much. I'm sure you all know what it's like to love someone so much (specially if you have your own little one/s). You will do anything for them and all you want is for the best life can offer and good health. Thinking about Miya and her little heart fills my heart with sadness b/c there is nothing I can do. Her life is fully in God's hands. All I can do as a mom is have faith that everything will be ok, love her and treasure every moment I have with her. I guess in a way I'm making this sound like she's gonna die, of course her situation is not half as bad as others, but her life is still at risk in some ways and to me as her mother and Miya being my only child, I'm scared to death. To me this is one of those things that is a big deal and I can't help but to think of the things that could go wrong during surgery. Am I over reacting?
In many ways I am also grateful for this trial of ours. It has brought us closer together as a family. Our faith and hope in our Heavenly Father is stronger then ever and after all we have gone through with Miya so far not one person can tell me that there is no God. I have grown as a woman and I have become stronger as a person and a mother. We have learned to enjoy every moment and to love with every breath we take. Life is so precious and you have to make the best of it no matter the circumstances. So, when you see your little ones or your loved ones make sure they know you love them and treasure every moment.

Our Cherry Hill Days Are Over

We are so sad that our fun days at Cherry Hill are over. The park is closing during the week now and so Miya and I are left to find another adventure. We had a great time at the water park with our friends and we can't wait till next year!

She loved watching the people go by in the lazy river while we got our sun block on or ate our snacks! The Lazy River was our favorite part of the park.

Miss Indipendent...never wanted to hold mom hand.

She loved Pirates Cove, only if I held her! She would put her hands under the running water and she just thought it was so cool! Her other favorite part was the slides. I stopped counting how many times she has gone down b/c she is a non stop slider. Of course I had to go down with her, I'm sure the Lifeguards thought I was nuts for going down a million times a day...but hey...Miya was the reason for getting a CH pass.

She would throw her toys into the water and of course, expected me to get them!
